Thank you for your interest in volunteering to help Visions for Friends’ (V4F) Project New Orleans!  One of the best ways to help New Orleans these days is to help put the still many displaced residences back into their homes.

How to Volunteer

Most Frequently Asked Questions…

What role will volunteers play?
Groups of  people will be sent to New Orleans for 3 to 5 days at a time to work on the V4F house.  Groups will be paired with experts from Rebuilding Together™, which will provide materials and supervise construction.

Who can Volunteer?
Anyone over the age of 18 may volunteer with or without construction skills.

Can I recruit a group of volunteers?
Absolutely, our goal is to have each volunteer  create their own group and raise additional funds.   Ask your friends, religious institution, schools or other local community groups.

Where will I stay?
All lodging can be provided for you in the special Broadmoor housing where breakfast and lunch will be provided.  Additional lodging and dining suggestions will be provided through our Visions for Friends volunteer travel committee.

How will I get there?
Airfare arrangements are available through V4F at a special discounted rate.
